GPS is a partnership of Cathie and Nick Wareham. Both Cathie and Nick are passionate about providing great people solutions to their clients. Cathie Wareham

Cathie is a well credentialed and talented professional with many years experience working across a wide variety of roles and industries. Her knowledge and skills encompass all facets of human resource and safety management and she has a proven ability to deliver outstanding solutions which are compliant yet commercially pragmatic. Cathie has a wide range of HR commercial capabilities that include:

Workplace Relations - Cathie has significant experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing and resolving workplace disputes. She is also an experienced and qualified mediator and counsellor.

Leadership - Cathie is accredited to use the DISC behavioural profiling tool and deliver associated leadership training. She is a qualified workplace trainer, TAFE course leader and university lecturer with extensive experience in designing and delivering leadership programs.

Safety Management – Cathie is an accomplished risk management specialist with a proven track record in developing and implementing innovative programs in client and employer’s sites across a diverse range of industries. She is an accredited and experienced safety auditor.

Cathie is  a certified professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a chartered professional member of the Safety Institute of Australia.

Nick Wareham

Nick Wareham

Nick is a senior and versatile Human Resources professional with over 25 years experience within large complex corporate environments to small start ups - and everything in between. During his career he has managed and gained expertise in a wide range of HR disciplines - consulting and providing HR services to senior and operational management within corporate, blue collar and retail environments. Over his career Nick has built up a wide range of HR commercial capabilities that include:

People Management - Nick has broad based experience in reviewing, developing, implementing and managing the full range of people management functions across organisations of all shapes and sizes.

Workplace Relations – Nick has negotiated enterprise agreements and managed union negotiations and consultation regarding large scale change programs. He has also managed and resolved industrial disputes at national, state and local levels and consulted to senior and operational management on industrial strategy.

People Projects - Nick has significant experience in delivering innovative and effective people solutions. He has successfully delivered projects associated with the complete employee lifecycle from: recruitment; induction & onboarding; performance management; remuneration; reward & recognition; retention; learning & development; motivation & engagement; to separations & termination.

Nick is a certified professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
